Through Holland and into Belgium

Headed to Sluis, last town before the Dutch border. Very old established village buzzing on a wet but warm Sunday afternoon. Visited the info centre and found map of De Kust cycle route which will takes us through the Belgian coast. Headed through open country through Knokke, Heist and the port of Zeebrugge.threatening black skies but warm. Torrential rain overnight but woke up to 25 degrees in the morning. As we approached Oostende the sky blackened and then sheet rain appeared followed by very strong SSW head winds. Very slow going. Winds. Head winds continue to be frightfully strong reducing Us to a mere 7kph. However found a really sheltered campsite and we will stay put tomorrow if the winds keep up.
